Under the guidance of owner and teacher, Talisha Pienaar, a former professional dancer with a wealth of experience and accolades, you'll explore the beauty of the Cecchetti method, complete with exams and showcases to celebrate your progress. Our spacious studio in Pinelands boasts wooden floors and ample natural light, offering a comfortable space for both students and parents – who often enjoy relaxing under the trees while waiting for their little ones to finish class. Meet your teacher
Talisha Pienaar
Talisha Pienaar’s great love for the art of ballet started at the age of three and achieved distinction for every major ballet exam she has pursued. She was accepted into the Cape Town City Ballet company where she danced professionally for two years. Thereafter, Talisha pursued teaching and qualified with her Cecchetti Associate Degree under the mentorship of esteemed teacher and qualified National examiner, Barbara Lewis. Moreover, she also won the Cecchetti Associate Trophy for the highest honors achieved in her Teachers Exam in the Western Cape, which places her as one of the top upcoming classical ballet teachers.
